So I am no longer just a stay at home mom anymore! After much thought & this lovely economy I am now going back to work after a nice 10 year break! I am now working every MONDAYs and TUESDAYs at SIMPLE PLEASURES SALON at 57 E. state street from 9 to 5 . It isnt quite the right time for me since I still have a 2 year old at home but with trevor going to school it will really help out. So if any of you need anything just let me know........ I have a great Color line and a GREAT Highlight and Low light line. I also do eyebrow waxing/haircuts/Perms etc etc. I really do love it! There is a girl at my salon that does nails, and she really does a great job- My sister also does Eyelash extensions ! They are awsome and are so cute! It takes about an hour or so! I do hair for Proms and great going out do's- I do give great discounts for family and friends so let everyone know! I know this is a shameless plug for myself but I just thought I would let everyone know that Im back in the game!

It is just so funny how fast time does fly! I guess thats what comes with the territory of having 5 kids- I just feel like i never get anything done but am always doing something. The spring time is always really busy for us, Addi just started Gymnastics- boy is that girl flexible. Anika started ballet and Ashlyn is starting league soccer in st. george and Ashia is in the new play coming this spring in Laverkin. So I pretty much am just driving here there and everywhere. Trevor is no where to be found he works full time and goes to school full time and sleeps the rest of the time so we only see him a few hours a week. Between all this and 3 church callings and room mom , Im POOPED! But on the bright side I am really excited I just got a new camera, so I will feel that I have more to share now- Not that its that interesting.

We have had the rounds of sickness at our house this year! First it was the colds and coughs and then it was the 24 hour flu! Not fun!!!!! Then last week my kids got 4 day long fevers followed by some weird mouth virus! that causes severe coldsores and fever blisters all in their mouths! My baby was the worst. It was so sad to see them in so much pain!

Here is our cute little Yorkie that we got for christmas, He wasnt able to come home until the first week in feb. i just keep thinking to myself what was I thinking- (Especially at 5:00 am this morning but hey the kids love dogs!

Here is my two year old! She love to play with her old baby stuff and we just laughed our heads off that she fell asleep in her old carseat! She still is my baby, even though she is growing up so fast! too fast if you ask me!

Okay, So I seen these online and just had to buy! They are so cool! It only takes me 5 minutes to write my list and off I go to the store and have 1 or 2 weeks worth of recipes! I bought 4 months worth- so we can have a different recipe every night for 4 months! I made my own holder which saved me money so I bought 4 months worth of recipes for only 20.00 I think it was way worth the time and effort these cute girls went through and they have some really yummy stuff! It has made my kitchen time cut in half and I no longer say- what am I going to have for dinner! its already done for me! IF you want to go to their web site and look around its Pocket full of Posies- just type that in your google search and they will pop up! they have the best recipes for deserts too! just scroll down their home page! Ive written out tons and tons! I hate to cook- well thats not true! I love to cook but hate to make the mess and clean it up! so Id rather not! But this has helped me out tons! Im also going to start posting my favorite blogs- Make over- cooking- school- church! Ive found ton's that I atleast have to look at once in awhile!

14 years old Today!

14 years old WOW how times flys- My Little Demon is now growing up to be such a wonderful young woman! She just wants to hang out with a couple of friends today and go to the movies and to DQ- I might just tag a long especially because im the driver! Ashia has been such a joy! She really is such a good teenager- She is very smart! Very Driven! and will go places in her life! I just hope when she gets rich and famous she remembers her dear old mother! Especially the rich part! She loves to read, being in plays, school (now who loves that) and she is good at what ever she puts her mind to! Im very grateful that she decided in heaven to let me be her mom and that she got to be my very first Ginny-pig, while trying to learn this mom bit. She reminds me daily that in only one year she can get her learners permit and now can go to stake dances! Wow wasn't it just yesterday that I was at dances, and learning how to drive! We love you Miss Ashia, thanks for letting me have the privilege of being your MOM! i love you

PATIENT, KIND, LOVING, SO MUCH FUN!(NOT TO MENTION HE HAD REALLY BIG MUSCLES , YEA BABY)- A GREAT TALKER AND A GREAT LISTENER, WE WOULD ALWAYS LAUGH AT ALL THE SAME STUFF IN MOVIES , ENJOYED PEOPLE WATCHING TOGETHER AND JUST ALL AROUND HAVE A BLAST TOGETHER! HE IS MY BEST FRIEND AND HAS PUT UP WITH SO MUCH! HE IS SUCH A HARD WORKER AND WHEN HE PUTS HIS MIND TO IT -HE CAN ACCOMPLISH WHAT EVER HE WANTS! I TRULY AM BLESSED BY KNOWING HIM! HOLIDAY-WHOBIE-WHATIE

This is exactly how I feel this year! For some reason I don't have very much holiday spirit! Im excited don't get me wrong, but Im just oh so tired! Just thinking about how much there is to do- along with church callings, homework, the freezing weather, and everything else. I just wish there was a day just to stay in bed with nothing to do and no reason what so ever to even get out of my PJ"S. FOR A WEEK! I know I just probably need a good night sleep but even that seems to be gone these days! I still have to pick up ashia from her play tonight and it is 10:00 at night!

Our school has a thing called "HARVEST OF TALENTS" its kind of like reflections-
Addison won 2nd Place- SHORT STORY
Ashlyn won 3rd place- drawing-
but cried all night because for the last two years she has gotten first place. How do you teach them to be good sports and be grateful for what they have! Because her younger sister ANIKA did a drawing for 2nd grade and didnt receive anything.
All the while we had to listen to Ash who was devastated ! "KIDS THESE DAYS- SO DECENSITIZED(?) by movies and other things" (THE GRINCH)

WELL AT LEAST WE HAD FAMILY HOME EVENING TONIGHT!
the kids made the Christmas count down. Where you make a holiday figure- we did santa claus and then you get 24 pieces of chocolate (my FAV) and roll them up in clear wrap and tie a ribbon around each candy so it makes a long chain of candy and we hung it up . The kids cant wait for december 1st to come! BUT I SURE CAN!

Halloween Activity Days!

What a horrible Week- I was in charge of an DADDY /DAUGHTER DATE activity for about 60 people last thursday! If that wasnt enough I had to put on another party the day after for 21 kids at school! Sometimes I wish I just had the guts to JUST SAY NO! but I guess I need blessings in my life! and there they go out the window by me complaining! Here is a picture of the kids with their dad! What a good dad! Dressing up all elvis like! He was tired of wearing his costume! He wore it to three partys last week. So we definately got our moneys worth!

Here is some of the spooky food we did! We also had boney fingers (white chocolate covered pretzel sticks shaped like bones) Monster Mush (Sloppy Joes) Spider Legs (CHEETOES)
Witches Brew (Frozen red hands with plastic flies in them)

These turened out just like eyeballs/ half were green and the other half had blood-shot eyes!

here were the 60 cup cakes- DEATH BY CUPCAKES- they turned out cute! Just use nutterbutters with the rip on them and crush up some fudge cookies to look like a freshly dug grave!

Here were all my helpers! Im the witch- Dont you just love the Green Shirt Im wearing! It even had shoulder pads in it! It was one of my moms old, i mean very old Maternity shirts- Hilarious! that it was the perfect witch dress! Ill be honest, I am so glad that last week is finally over! and so are my kids!

Okay so here is our annual party! Trevor won funniest costume! It was so much fun! We laugh our heads off when we see each other! my parents were from grease! Kacan and gabby were peterpan and tinkerbell! (we loved singing the song- We are men-were men in tights-tight tights- from Robinhood men in tights- Aaron and mary were the phantom and christine. Meg and Russ - Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby- Chase and Steph- well he actually shaved his head for this part- The pirates! Tanycia and troy the cowboys and of coarse I was cat woman and Trev was ELVIS! It was a lot of Fun! I have the best family ever! We eat and have a pumkin carving contest- Ill post pictures later! and we play an elephant game! and it is funny how things keep recircling each time we play : like the "GAS we PaSS" book and THE DUKE (aka the Jock Strap) - Poor Parents who have to deal with roudy kids! Its a lot of fun!

WITCHES NIGHT OUT! up at the Gardner Village -cool place to eat, and shop and just look around! I want to take the family when it is not so crowded. If you havent been there just google it and you can get into their web site and look around! It really is a cute place to visit!

For all you redo'rs out there this is my new found LOVE! I can't believe I have ever lived without it! I know it has been around and it only costs $2.50 but if you love to make over anything this is the bomb! You just attatch this to your spray can- ONE SIZE FITS ALL and bam no more messy spray fingers - I finished one chair and both my pointy fingers were so cramped up I thought that it would take me a week to finish all of my chairs.....I went to walmart and bought some more paint and wow! I finished all 5 chairs- did 2 more chairs and two nightstands that I bought at the DI and refinished and put new knobs on them. Beautiful! So here are my before's and after's I love Black! Can you tell! I recovered the chairs with this striped material that I love! it has a lot of reds and creams! I want use this same material and make some hanging drapes to match my chairs and maybe a few accent pillows !

AFTER! SO tell me what you think! This is the best I could come up with in the department of photography wiht my $20.00 polaroid- crappy camera! Its what you put up with why your husband is going full time to college and working full time! By the way Im happy to announce that my husband got accepted into the NURSING program- after lots of hard classes he finally made it in- they have about 120 people apply and accept only 35-40 students twice a year! He had to take lots of math classes and anatomy! you know the class that they cut up dead people! EEEWWW! He wants to be a Nurse Practitioner! So we have a few more years of school but hey- enjoy the journey right!

Let me know what you think of it! If you click on the pictures you can see it a little better- i sanded a few spots to give is a rustic feel! I first tried a cream colored and was going to glaze it brown! but with my material it was too light together - I needed to pick darker material for the seats to do cream colored chairs! so Black it was!

Okay my blogging skills are to a minimum - ive have so been a slacker and I will do better- Ive just had no desire to take pictures with my little crappy camera - I need a new one so bad and Im hoping for christmas Santa will bring me a new one! Well I will tell you a little bit about this last month- My Parents rented a cabin in Mammoth creek and it was a blast- ALL my family stayed there- It was a lot of fun! we played volleyball, card games, an elephant game with the adults- Ate tons of great food, and just sat around and talked! It was fun! Here is a picture of the kids waiting for everyone to come out of the small opening at mammoth cave!

Here is a picture of "STANLEY" aka chase my brother- He grows his MOLEST-"STACHE" AS we call it- in very unusual ways- he can grow one so fast that every two week he is coming up with a new mustach do. Here are the girls at mammoth creek- ashia is offically almost 4 inchs taller than me and a few weeks ago we wrestled and she got the better of me! Wow! how time flys

Here is ash at her 11th b-day party- she had a late night pajama party with 10 girls- WOW thats the last big party for her! Usually I only go until 10 with the big partys but I caved in and let her have one more- It was the death of me- We made homemade pizzas and the girls got to put what ever they wanted on them and then we did carmeled apples- (Which i would not recommend because ash and her cousin kenzie got burnt) and then we made banana splits-we did play some games and did an Halloween elephant game (which only 11 year olds could fight over which trick or treat bag they got) all in all _I wanted to kill myself when it was over!

Here are some chairs that I am in the process of refinishing- Check back in a little while and hopefully they will be done- I have five of them that I got at the DI and I love the High backs! Im posting this picture as an incentive to get them finished......................

We were paying about 79.00 to qwest for High speed internet and a phone line! 35.00 for our phone line and 35.00 for our internet and all the silly charges that go with it! Well we switched to Baja broadband for 39.00 a month for the highest speed you can get and no fees just 39.00 a month and now we only pay 20.00

Where did the summer go?

I cant believe we are back to the grind and starting school already.
My kids have done a lot this summer most of it has been a "STAYCATION"
thats where you vacation from your own home and try to hit all the local things you don't normally do. Here are the kids at the fair. Dont you just love the fair. 110 degrees, dust flying, weird people, and crazy rides that end in throwing up in the nearby trash can. (Brynli you know what im talking about) but we usually try to support the local wards and have a navajo taco. (Way to go Lav 4th) they are always so yummy! This is Ashia with ansley, I usually have to fight to get to hold my own daughter, Ashia is so good with her!

Here is the girls at PIRATE ISLAND PIZZA- Last monday we took all the girls to
ANNIE and went to dinner before hand- if you havent been there it is really cool for kids. The decorations are awesome- the food is pretty good, but its just worth going for the atmosphere!

Annie was really good too! I love the Dixie Direct! it has been our constant companion this year! everywhere we have eaten and most of our activities have been used from the dixie direct, it has saved us so much money! we got annie tickets 50% off! and last Friday Trevor and I went to see "Annie get your Gun" at the st. george musical theater- It was so good! you guys all missed out if you didnt see it! we also got that show-buy one ticket get the other free! So it was a pretty cheap date night!

Here is a picture that was taken a couple weeks ago- we hiked the narrows with the Rowland family! it was a lot of fun, but I was so glad that I only brought Ashia and Ashlyn with us- It was really rocky and I sprained my ankle once! but it was so beautiful. It was cold and the water was up to our chest in some areas but it was worth the hike! what a fun day! I can't wait to try some more hikes! Sorry Ive been such a slacker in my blogging , for some reason I just want to read everyone elses and not post anything! Ive got to get me a better camera- Im using ashias Polaroid- and it is horrible. But anything is better than nothing i guess!

GOING TO VEGAS

Do you ever have that feeling like your going to explode if you don't
get to get out of the house once in awhile! Well that is how i have been feeling lately besides the fact of being sick this last 2 weeks (IMAGINE THAT) me and my sisters decided to head to vegas on a whim! and it was so much fun! We got a free stay at the new palazzo & Free tickets to Lion king- What more could you ask for! - It was so very nice! thanks meg!

Here is our suite- it was a two bed suite and had its own living room - it had 3 tvs and was so very nice!
We went school clothes shopping! and we got to go to the broadway version of the
"LION KING" it was so fun- and the costumes are so awesome! the tickets are pricey but if you saved up it is definitely worth taking the kids to! $58-130.00 a ticket!
all in all it was so much fun! I love being with my sisters- they are so much fun and we have a blast together and get along great! We always have our inside jokes and just have a good time! Thanks girls for the wild trip! (Peanut butter!) We always have so much fun just people watching! Its free and its the best entertainment ever! Especially in Vegas! People are Hilarious! In one store that we went shopping in one girl asked if we were from UTAH- and we said yes! but we were wondering how she knew we were from utah, were we dressed a little too modest- did we look a little bit too much like each other! Did we look like cousin had married cousin! I guess we will never know! it was a lot of fun and I cant wait until the next time!
I need something to look forward to something! HINT HINT TREVOR!

BROKEN CAMERA & $15.00 Bug sprays!

So i havent wanted to blog because i have been upset by my camera being broken!
It was in the baby bag and had milk from a bottle spilt on it and it is totally ruined!
So I just cant bring myself to blog with a broken camera! I need to post pictures to blog about
so this will just have to do- I will use my daughters little camera until mine can get replaced!

By the way for all of you money savers out there my husband is in the Landscaping (so great to be in in this area) &
Spray business (His is licensed ) and is offering a killer deal of $15.00 Perimeter Bug sprays- most people charge $35.00 to $45.00. Just to come and spray for bugs! He also does weed control (for all of you who hate to pull weeds) and lawn fertilization.
He is just going to school full time and is trying to get a small clientele to get him through school.

Last weekend we went to ogden, and went to our neice brittanys wedding!
It is so nice to go to a wedding at the saltlake city temple- so special and so good! They actually had 44 weddings the same day! can you believe it- thats a lot of kids getting married at the right time in the right place!

We had a great weekend and our family has been reading the scriptures and we made a goal that if we read for 60 nights straight we would do something fun! So we went ICE SKating! It was a blast and I didnt even fall down! We are almost done with our second set of 60 days so I guess our next adventure will be Pirate Island Pizza- Its what the kids pick- some nights its 11:00 pm and the kids will come in and say we forgot scriptures and we will all be dead tired but they make us read them- Even if I have to bribe them to read them! - Maybe just maybe they are getting something out of it! We need all the blessings we can get!

This is my one true love! ROAD RACING! Trevor took me down last year and had me
get fitted for a new bike! They actually measure you and see which size a bike
that you should be riding- The perfect fit! I wanted to get into road biking a lot more but the bikes are very expensive, Well trevor surprised me last christmas with this bike! And i think that I am in love! It is so light and nice! I love going biking, last week I rode out to sandhollow from my house and back. It is a very good ride! Lots of hills to climb. I just feel so free when im riding! Plus I don't huff and puff so much on this guy! and it just so happens that RED is my favorite color! Maybe my husband has been listening once in a while! WHO knew!

BLankets ON the Lawn!!!!!!

THIS IS NOT PUDDING!!!!!!!
This is what my daughter looked like this morning when I found her in her crib, and the blankets and the walls.
Yea I know it has been one of those weeks- First of all 4 of my kids have had the flu. SO not fun, especially at 3 in the morning when one comes in and says MOM i threw up all over the floor, and another throws up a RED, I repeat RED icee from maverick all over my tan carpet. And then my baby this morning. OHHHHHHHHHHH,
We had just put her bed back together from the throw up incident, cribs can get so messy, so about 9:30 this morning we found her in her bed, It was the saddest thing ever, She had poop on her face, her hair, down her legs, all over her blankets, the cribs and wall, Her eyelids were caked, she even had poop on her pacifier(on the inside of the pacifier i might add) She had slept in it all night long. We never heard her cry once. The funny thing is , is that she was still wearing her diaper and only one side was attached. (OF COARSE, TREV HAD PUT HER TO BED and changed her diaper. .... ) and the diaper was clean as a whistle. We had to scrub her for an hour, which she hated and I hated more. Gagging, and gagging, We just threw her pacifer and bottle away. and sprayed off the blankets on the lawn. So if you are ever doing a drive by, and see blankets on the lawn. you know Ive had a bad night. Im sure my neighbors are tired of seeing my blankets on the lawn. This week it has been about 4 out of 7 nights that blankets have been on the lawn. IF my kids ever say that I dont' love them, I will repeat this story over and over! I hope this week is better!!!!!!

Pink and Green Bridal Shower

HERE IS OUR PINK AND GREEN bridal shower
that we did for my neice brittany.

So, my sister-in-law roped me in to doing a BRIDAL shower for my neice. I volunteered my back yard, and before i knew it i was roped into a lot of stuff. me and my big mouth. Oh well
It was a lot of fun..... her colors were pink and lime green so we found everything that
we could find. We did a recipe book and had everyone bring or write down
a recipe. We also had an advice sheet were everyone wrote down their
advice on a sheet of paper and we drew these out read their advice and gave prizes away.

we made these tissue pompoms they are fun to make.

This is the food table it turned out cute- lots of green and pink- for the food-
white cake balls- yummy- bowtie chicken salad (THE BEST) - rolls - chocolate covered strawberrys and cupcakes and fruit salad. The food was so yummy!

My sister in law teresa is the best cook and she made what ever idea i came up with
she is so talented. This cupcake tree turned out so cute! LOTS OF WORK

here is our drink table. we had kerr jars with green and pink ribbons w/ green and pink straws and we did floating rasperries with slices of lime in each cup with cherry 7up in each glass. Very yummy and refreshing. we also did a fun matching bridal candybar game. It was fun! We hope brittany knows how much we love her!

Well I found my new favorite take and bake pizza from Papa Murphys!!
Its the Delite (which means is low in fat, well lower than most pizzas)
Garlic Chicken, Spinach , Artichoke pizza...... It is so good as far as take and bakes are
concerned! and If you like a good specialty pizza go and try the "GREAT WHITE" from the restaurant "PLAYERS" in st. george. IT is the same pizza but oh so good! if you like artichokes, garlic alfredo and chicken. It is really really good! Try something new, who knows it might turn out to be your favorite- I had trevor try it and now atleast everyother week we are going to players to share a pizza!
I have been so busy with coaching soccer (which now is over) and 2 kids in baseball, achievment days, Ashia is in the LaVerkin Community Play.....DON QUIXOTE , So back and forth we go every night......
It starts this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday. So anyone who wants a free nights entertainment. or just a cheap date night, Please come. They practice so much to give the community something fun to watch. MR HIll the drama teacher is the lead, and ashia is one of the maids at the hotel. She has been practicing so hard. Every one come!!!! DID i mention its FREE!!!! and it starts at 7 :30 pm on thurs-monday night! its at the Old white chapel in LaVerkin. They sell really cheap treats......

Here are some of the girls after the easter bunny came, they got too much candy and kites and
a Family DS game to share and a tent.. Kids love to play in tents! We also went up to the Hurricane Easter hunt, ITs always fun for the kids......

We had an Easter picnic with the Rowlands, we went to zion and had a lot of fun.
we ate yummy food and went hiking, and we especially love scarring the hikers with our fake snake and string....... ITs SO FUNNY......... We also got together with the Demille side of the family on Saturday... We always have a lot of fun... Yummy food and Basketball... a great combination.........

Well this last weekend was my b-day and my wonderful husband
surprised me by taking me to dinner in springdale and then
we went to a bed & breakfast- The red rock inn-
It was so much fun- He's surprised me before but he has never packed all my
stuff before and just went- Even some of the kids knew but didnt let on.

We went the next day and hiked Angels landing with Teresa & Barry and Travis and Sandy, It was a lot a fun and a good workout. I chickened out at the very last and didnt go the entire way but I am okay with that- I HATE HEIGHTS! Then we hit sandwiches in Springdale and Olive Garden that night! They surprised me with a yummy cake. Thanks guys!

Trevor had went up ahead of time and decorated our room- He did such a good job. He had everything- He had the fake wine (Berry Cider) with cute wine glasses and balloons all over the floor with rose petels- He had roses on the bed and he even made chocolate covered strawberrys- He even had a cake with candles on it- He thought of everything- What a wonderful husband I have- It was a blast- I love surprises and they don't come a long every day- I am truly blessed! Thanks hun! for a wonderful birthday!

So I have decided to actually try and lose some weight- and
I am putting it out in the open so that everyone knows and maybe
just maybe this time it will give me a kick in the butt to actually do
something about it. I havent lost that last 15 pounds that my beautiful
daughter decided to leave me with, and my body does not want to loose
its food storage very easily.And I don't know if it is just all those girl scout
COOKIES, or Im just getting older, So Today was the first day and it was tough but I
got through it and Im still alive- I have never had any problem with the
exercise part- but my eating habits are horrible. I found this website
called myfitnesspal and it is cool. You enter your information for the day-
and it helps you keep track of it and tells you what you need to be doing.
So if anyone of you out there is trying to also lose, I could use some good
recipes, tricks and some support. I cant seem to get past a week of dieting.
Its my downfall, that and DQ on the weekends. So each week I will post my little
calender of weight loss. And hopefully there is something to report.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR and I love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired.............

Well this is what my family has been doing for the last
3 weeks. It started with Ashia and then to the rest of us. Not fun.
I was sick in January for 10 days with Strep. Then for the last 2 weeks I
have been real sick with fever, broncitis, and a Sinus Infection. After about a week a coughing

my head off. My husband forced me to go to the Dr.'s Probably because i have been keeping him up at night with my terrible cough. I told her that I seem to be getting sick a lot lately and that it takes for ever to get better, So she gave me a series of Antibiotics and took a few tests and found out that I have "MONO". I had it in highschool. ( Yea I know the kissing disease , RIGHT! ) and had a real hard time of not falling asleep where ever I was. I was so tired , I had trouble getting to school everyday. Good thing we didnt have RESTITUTION back when I was going to highschool or i would have probably had to have Summer school for all the days I missed or was late. Needless to say its back which is rare but in my case is probably chronic and I hope I can get over it soon. It just makes you super tired all the time and you can't seem to get over things very well. So thats my luck. A crappy immune system. We always tell our parents we have crappy genes- Its the joke in our family! So enough of my poor pity me party!

Yesterday, we went to St. George to the Cannery! We have went every month this year-
It has been kind of fun- my mom, and my two sisters went last night, Meg and Tanycia- I canned Sugar, flour, Spaghetti, and rice. Its been fun to watch our food storage grow. We have made a better effort to follow the prophet and I really feel like he has blessed our life. Of coarse my mom treated us
to Durangos salads after we went canning. I have to admit I have a great mom and she is always a great example of what a mom should be. I love you MOM!

Well I thought that this picture was so cute SO I just had to show it this girl loves bathtime. Today I took her clothes off and her diaper and turned around to get her water ready, when I turned around to pick her up low and behold their was a puddle around her feet and she was laughing.

This was her first hair cut! I just trimmed the back and round brushed it. It makes her look so old. The little stinker.

This was the Dam to Dam race. With me and my sisters and Sister in law Steph. We had so much fun. A couple of us were race bandits but hey it was still fun. I was so sick that day with the worst cough and cold ever but I made it to the finish line- Even though Im paying for it now.

Here is another picture of this little fart. She loves to climb in drawers and is always taking everything out of them. Everyroom I go in she has taken something out of each and every drawer. But she is so cute doing it that I just cant be mad

Well This really has been a crappy week. All my kids have been sick and now Ive got the cold, cough, sorethroat, . And to top that off one of my best friends mom just passed away. Most of you know keturah and that her mom Sheila passed away this week. It is so hard. Life really isnt fun that much and the trials we have to go through really are hard in this life. Keturah and I go to the temple once a month and we have went every month for 3 years now. ( She has helped me get there when before that I was only going once in a while) Plus we just have to stop and have lunch to make it worth our while. SO It has been really a hard to watch a friend have to go through what Trevor and I have went through with his mom. I found this poem and It really touched my heart.

Please pray for Keturah and her family, I know that they could use a lot of prayers right now. When something like this happens to you, you really realize why the Lord says in the scriptures to "Mourn with those that Mourn. Because we need all the help we can get in this life. Thank you to all my blogging friends and even those friends who I do occationally blog stalk. You inspire me everyday to do just a little bit better. Even through your trials and daily struggles I learn a lot. Thanks for keeping me going and striving to do better!

Prepare every needful thing

I have been thinking a lot lately about food storage and the need

to prepare every needful thing- I must admit I havent been the most aggressive

saint when it comes to food storage, but lately I have felt the need to do more and to

do a better job of actually listening to my prophets more carefully . And actually do what they

are advising us to do- whether its food storage or more temple attendance, (Besides my patriarchal blessing talks alot about food storage- so I guess i better listen) I know I need to heed their counsel more in my life. So I have been trying to do a better job of it. We actually canned about 40 cans that night. Just me and my 6 year old. The others only lasted about a 1/2 hour of work but KEEKERS was a champion . I also have a list of Non Food items that we also need to store- So if anyone wants it just leave a comment and a email and Ill email it to you- Its kinda cool you just put down let say how many toothpastes you use in a month and then you figure out how many you use in a year and you work towards getting all of them until you have a year supply then you move on to the next item. Ive been trying to look for stuff on sale when it comes. That way you can by more of them. Like I needed 12 dishsoaps and found them on sale at family dollar for .90cents and now I have my year supply . I also got a year supply of Shampoo and conditioner for less than $35.00- VO5 for .67cents a bottle- We have a lot of girls with long hair so we needed about 24 bottles of each 2 bottles a month. Usually monthly I don't buy Vo5 but at least I now have a year supply of it. So let me know if any of you want this list.

This is where My Baby likes to hang out while im on the computer- She loves to crawl up under my chair and onto the printer- She doesnt like any toys she just wants to bother me all day. So She hangs out in her little cubby until Im off the computer. LOVE the crazy hair

Im a Yard Sale/ D.I. Junkee

I love to find old things and re-do them- I found this old chair for 5 bucks- it was brown -broken and had a black seat- I glued it painted it black and bought some material for 3 bucks and recovered the seat- I have redone my teen&tween's room by finding older furniture and repainting it-Ashia and I have been redoing her room for a young womens 10 hour project- We have Redone a black computer desk- this chair that goes with the desk and a tall book shelf and some other projects it has been fun!

Can you believe I have a teenager? I am not old

enough to have a teenager- Ashia is now 13 and so

excited to be a teenager because it is closer to 16

little does she know when she gets to be 16 all she

will be doing with the car is running all my little errands-

Whoaaa Haaaaa Haaaaaa!

She is such a good girl- She has had straight A's for two semesters

(Probably because she loves the money we bribe her with) and she

only has two more projects to finish her YW Personal progress! What a good

girl I have- (Lets hope it stays that way)

Ansley got tired of waiting for me in the kitchen so she decided to

fall asleep- Its hard having only one kid at home all day- She has

no one to play with accept me and that isn't to fun!

We went snow tubing for new years day! it was a blast

cedar mountain was just the place. the kids had a blast- Addi

was the little dare devil. she went all the way to the top and came down. That

girl isn't afraid of anything.

Just hanging with the honey- He always makes me

go down the steep parts even when I don't want to, but I always

have fun.

She is growing all to fast. SHe is ONE Already! Had
her birthday last week and ate a chocolate cake and loved
every minute of it!

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!! the kids loved playing with
trevor all day in the snow! THey were freezing by the time
they got done building snowmen and forts! What a good dad! Mom stayed in were it was nice and toasty

Wow , 14 years of being married, I never thought that would happen, but it appears that a lot of things I thought would never happen, happen a lot now. LIke these tiny little crows feet starting at my eyes and the way that the last 10 pounds just wont drop off. And how I don't make my bed everyday like I used to. And how I forget things, Like picking my kids up from school on early days. (It only happened once, I promise) . Trevor took me up to Milts Steak house in Cedar city on Weds. But we only made it half way up to Cedar and had to turn around. We drove in that crazy blizzard. We were slidding all over the road, and so we turned around and went to st. george. We went to TEXAS road house and ate like kings. I love this kid! We have had such a fun ride. We have so much fun together & enjoy spending time with each other. He is my best friend. We laugh at the same stuff and always have our inside jokes. I love you Trevor.

Hey everyone, sorry I havent up dated in awhile, i have been sooooo busy.
We have been moving back into our house in hurricane, The kids are so
excited to be moving back to our old house. They always loved the neighborhood
but I always have wanted a larger house. Oh Well "Love grows in little houses"
Well tough times have a way of winning out! Especially when you are a landscaper these days! Good thing trev is going back to school. He has finals next week Yea!!!!! and then we wont have school until January. He has been doing so good. He is at the top of all of his classes. I am so proud of him...He works so hard for us. Working all day and going to school all night. What a fighter! no wonder I love that kid! Well hope that everyone has a happy holidays! Hopefully

Trev and I just went to the Haunted Corn Maze for his birthday, we had so much fun, I didnt open my eyes the whole time, I just went through the maze squeezing his arm to death. We had so much fun. Just the two of us being along was fun.

"THE GUBLERS Annual HALLOWEEN PARTY"

and we have a blast. It's usually the married kids and mom and dad. And we have prizes for the best costume. It is Hilarious. Last week the girls and mom had a girls weekend away.

We had a lot of fun. We went to salt lake and went to a

homecoming of my moms friends son. We had a blast. We made mom try on some knee high boots and it was hilarious trying to help her get them on. We went to PF Changs- the best restaurant in town. (MY FAV) and of coarse we had to hit krispy kreams on the way out of town. Thanks for all the fun Sisters and mom , you know i Love you guys.

Yesterday my wonderful husband took me on a date- He even emailed me and asked me out It was very romantic of him. We took the motorcyle (I was scared for my life). and went up to virgin and he brought some targets. He told me it was time I learned how to use our little handgun. And that he was going to teach me how to load it and shoot it. It was an older gun that his grandpa gave him. andit even came in a cute little purse. Just for the ladys. But when I fired the gun, it was so loud and felt like i was going to actually kill some poor bunny out in the boondocks with this poor thing. it is a 25 Caliber pistol. And those bullets are bigger than a 22 bullet. They'll kill ya dead. Any way to make a long story short. I won the shooting contest with a bulls eye I might add (watch out scary burglers). I was pretty proud of myself. Standing there with my charlies angels pose with my gun in my hands. Charlie would have been proud.

Then we took off up to springdale, and ate dinner at Oscars Cafe. a great place to eat up their I might add. And then we drove home in the dark, on a motorcycle, Ive never held on so tight in my whole life. FUN FUN Date. Thanks trev

For the love of food- My daughter Ansley is just crawling and has become the human vacuum.

She will pick up everything and put it directly in her cute little mouth. This morning was

no exception. I was talking on the phone to bert (its what I do best- when I have my phone actually turned on-which my sisters will remind me of) and there was ansley with a cockaroach

hanging out of her mouth. I screamed so loud, but only cause I knew I was the only one home to get the roach out of her mouth. Sick sick sick, What mothers wont do for their kids..............

We went to Salt lake city this weekend and stayed at trevs dads house.
we went to see trevs nephew get married in the salt lake city temple.

This Weekend we went to PineValley to a cabin that we go to every year with all the Gublers
there are about 30 of us in five bedrooms and 2 bathrooms- We always have so much fun. I can't believe how fast it goes by. Trevor took the kids fishing and bought them each there own poles. He taught them how to string their poles and put every thing on them. Anika caught her own fish. She even casted it into the water herself.

Hey I finally figured out how to actually blog- It has taken me a while to figure

everything out- Im excited to actually keep a little bit of record of my family life

I hope it is not to boring for you all. Ansley just learned to crawl this week. and she

is pulling herself up to stuff and of coarse hitting her head on everything. She just follows me
